원해운은 인천을 기반으로 한 무역회사로, 국내 주요 철강 기업들에게 스테인리스 스틸 원자재와 금속 제품을 공급하며 전문성을 확립해 왔습니다. 본사 이전을 계기로 새로운 사옥의 정체성을 강화하고, 브랜드 이미지를 확립하기 위한 리노베이션 프로젝트를 진행하였습니다.

새로운 사옥은 5층 규모로, 4층과 5층은 업무 공간, 2층과 3층은 카페와 라운지 바, 1층은 이를 지원하는 주방으로 구성되었습니다. 기존 건축물의 견고함을 유지하면서도, 내부는 따뜻하고 감각적인 공간으로 재해석되었습니다. 스테인리스 스틸이라는 상징적 재료는 공간 곳곳에서 브랜드의 정체성을 표현하는 주요 포인트로 활용되었습니다.

ONEDER Lounge (2-3F)

ONEDER는 원해운의 정체성을 담은 브랜드이자, 창의적 가능성과 협업을 위한 다목적 공간입니다. 평소에는 카페와 바로 운영되며, 정기적으로 브랜드 협업과 이벤트를 통해 새로운 영감과 경험을 제공합니다. 공간은 기능성과 감각적 디자인이 조화롭게 결합해 다채로운 연출이 가능하도록 설계되었습니다.

라운지의 중심에는 층고 6m의 보이드 공간이 자리 잡아 개방감과 시각적 연속성을 제공합니다. 2층 카페 바는 공간의 중심 역할을 하며, 상층에는 닫힌 작업실, 드링크 바, 다목적 라운지가 배치되어 다양한 기능과 장면을 연출할 수 있습니다. 정면의 대형 창은 ONEDER의 브랜드 아이덴티티를 담아내는 그래픽과 타공 스테인리스 패널로 마감되었습니다. 이 패널은 빛 조절과 전시물 배치를 위한 배경으로도 활용됩니다. 원형 계단은 정교한 금속 공예로 제작되어 두 층을 연결하며, 기능적이면서도 시각적 포인트로 작동합니다.

인테리어는 비트라, 허먼 밀러, 에메코, USM 등 세계적 디자인 브랜드의 제품들로 구성되었습니다. 가구는 컬러와 소재를 통해 공간에 생동감을 부여하며, 다양한 배치와 연출 가능성을 열어두고 계획되었습니다. 글래스 블록, 리브 유리, 폴리카보네이트 같은 반투명 소재와 스테인리스 스틸의 조합은 부드러우면서도 세련된 질감을 형성하며, 빛과 그림자가 어우러진 섬세한 디테일로 공간에 깊이를 더합니다.

옥상은 다목적 활용을 염두에 두고 설계되었으며, 투명한 전동 파고라를 통해 날씨와 관계없이 다양한 활동이 가능합니다. 주변 환경과 유기적으로 연결되는 이 공간은 창의적 가능성을 상징하는 열린 공간으로 자리 잡았습니다.

각각의 가구와 공간은 장면으로써, 때로는 배경으로써 기능하도록 조율되었습니다. 이를 통해 ONEDER는 무엇이든 일어날 수 있는(Wonder) 공간으로 브랜드 철학과 정체성을 담아냅니다.

One International / ONEDER

One International is an Incheon-based trade company specializing in supplying stainless steel raw materials and metal products to Korea’s leading steel companies. After relocating its headquarters, the company undertook a renovation project to strengthen its new building’s identity and enhance its brand image.
The five-story headquarters features offices on the 4th and 5th floors, a café and lounge bar on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and a supporting kitchen on the 1st floor. While preserving the solid exterior of the original structure, the interior was redesigned as a warm and sophisticated space. Stainless steel, a signature material of the company, has been creatively utilized throughout as a key design element to highlight the brand’s identity.

ONEDER Lounge (2-3F)

ONEDER represents One International’s brand identity and serves as a multifunctional space for creativity and collaboration. Operated as a café and bar during regular hours, it also hosts events and collaborations, inspiring diverse experiences. The space seamlessly combines functionality and aesthetic sensibility, offering flexibility for various uses.

The centerpiece is a 6-meter-high void that creates vertical openness and visual connectivity. The 2nd-floor café bar anchors the space, surrounded by a closed workshop, drink bar, and multipurpose lounge on the upper level. The large front window features graphics and perforated stainless steel panels, which control light and serve as a versatile backdrop for exhibitions. A spiral staircase, crafted with precision metalwork, connects the two floors, serving as both a functional and visual highlight.

The interior features furniture from renowned brands like Vitra, Herman Miller, Emeco, and USM. These pieces bring vibrancy to the space through their colors and materials, offering flexibility for various layouts. Semi-transparent materials like glass blocks, ribbed glass, and polycarbonate combine with stainless steel to create a refined yet soft texture, enhanced by the interplay of light and shadow.

The rooftop is a versatile space designed with a transparent motorized pergola, allowing for activities in all weather conditions. Connected to its surroundings, it symbolizes ONEDER’s openness and creative potential.

Each element of the space has been carefully curated to function as both a scene and a backdrop, reflecting the brand’s ethos of fostering a space where “anything can happen” (Wonder).
